Danielle van Kalmthout is the General Coordinator of the Belgian Alliance for a Smoke Free Society since 2018. Before working in tobacco control, she worked in the environmental field. She was director at RREUSE, the European network of social enterprises in reuse and recycling. She continued at the Policy Research Department of a Belgian consumer organization where was responsible for environment, sustainable development and was the coordinator International and European affairs for the organization. Danielle is a PhD Research fellow at the Human Rights Centre at Ghent University.
