2nd Stakeholder workshop on tracability and security features

Following stakeholder workshop held on 16 December 2016 on the implementation of systems for traceability and security features for tobacco products (as provided for under Articles 15 and 16 of the Tobacco Products Directive 2014/40/EU), DG SANTE now organises a second face-to-face workshop with stakeholders – including NGOs active in the field, manufacturers of tobacco products, solution providers, supply chain operators and retailers – will take place on 15 May 2017 in Brussels.

Key aspects of the preparatory work will be presented at the workshop.

Stakeholders may follow the meeting in two ways:

  • Via webstream: Necessary details, including the web link, will be communicated prior to the workshop.
  • In person: Please note that the capacity of the room is limited. In order to allow for a balanced representation of stakeholders and maximise participation, we encourage organisations to coordinate their participation where possible. In all cases, we kindly ask you to limit your nomination requests to a maximum of two persons per organisation/association. Please note that we cannot guarantee the participation of all applicants.
